Magic is at its origins. In my works I turn to the rites of the past. In Slavic culture there was a big spread of fortune-telling. First of all, they were associated with the use of mirrors and the play of light and shadow. By turning to my cultural tradition and redefining it, I’m creating a new image of magical ritual.
